Not a good day to remember!
Swaffham went down heavily by 9 tries to 1 at UEA but more worryingly, lost three players to injury within the first 15 minutes. Although it took the students 35 minutes to get their third try, and Swaffham replied with a well taken push over try after 45 minutes, the extra pace out wide made all the difference and they scored at regular intervals. Not an enjoyable way for Louis Salter to start his first senior fixture but he showed his commitment and is the first of a new crop of youngsters coming through the ranks.
