Minis

Swaffham Minis were founded in 1992 and provides rugby for boys and girls from School Year 2 (Under 7s) to School Year 7 (Under 12) on Sundays throughout the season (Sept-April). Numbers fluctuate season to season between 60 and 100 across the age groups.

All players, both Boys and Girls, are welcome. No membership is required for the first few sessions until your child is happy, and second hand kit and boots are often available for start-ups. New kit can be purchased from the on-site shop or via the website.

In the Mini section, boys and girls train and play together until they reach the Junior section at age 12 so please feel free to turn up at a training session or contact the club via the Contacts section on this website.

Unless the ground is in use for a match, training is from 09.30a.m. to 11a.m. every Sunday at Swaffham Rugby Club on North Pickenham Road, Swaffham. PE37 7QX. Children can turn up ready changed or make use of the several changing rooms and washing facilities available.

During the season the Minis also take part in Festivals held across the County, and at Swaffham, when they get to practice their skills against groups from other Clubs.
