Swaffham began the game in exciting fashion and ran in 3 tries in the first 15 minutes. If Norwich Union weren’t shell shocked, then certainly the spectators were! There were times when players tried to go a little too far on their own rather than using support, which resulted in a few missed opportunities but by the end of the first half Swaffham were well in front by 32 points to 12, having scored 6 tries to 2. Norwich Union came back a lot stronger in the second half and the match was far more entertaining as both sides went at each other hard. The game flowed from end to end but Swaffham managed another 3 tries to Norwich Unions 2. Another excellent result by a team that seems to be developing week on week, and will certainly be pushing the top teams close by the end of the season.
