Lowry paints the perfect picture! Fantasy League Round 3

Ulster debutant Michael Lowry celebrated his inclusion into the Irish team with a couple of tries and, but for some unselfish play, could have scored a hat trick. Although the game was ruined by the dismissal of the Italian hooker and the subsequent reduction to 13 men, Ireland did what everyone expected and came away with 9 tries. Several people chose an abundance of Irish backs in their selection but it was Lowry who scored the heaviest, and with “Captains points” gaining a massive 188 points. Another player having his first taste of 6Nations this year was James Lowe and he too would have exceeded 180 points as Captain

Some more new faces appeared in the top 10 scorers in this round, with Butcherboi54, Beany’s Babes and JJ all appearing for the first time in this elite group. Surprisingly a Welshman, in the form of Taff D has also appeared! Maybe he should be having a word with Wayne Pivac!

Early pace-setter Will is slipping down the general order and is in danger of dropping out of the top 5, something Cluckie will be happy to see, but Will still heads the try scoring list and at the end of the competition, try scorers will be winners.

Don’t forget to pick your teams early next week as Wales host tournament favourites France on Friday night at 8pm and will be hoping the channel crossing upsets their balance. Italy host Scotland at 2.15pm before England take on Ireland at Twickenham at 4.45pm. Engalnd and Ireland both know that a win is imperitive if they have any chance of overhauling the French, so expect some hard hits!
