Fantasy League – Round 2

Wales halted Scotland’s fine performance against England with a revenge victory for last year’s defeat at Cardiff, but who saw that coming?

Another weekend of surprises to many. Although England continued their 28 year run of never losing to Italy, France remain unbeaten after having won in Ireland for the first time in 10 years. What would have happened if James Lowe had kept his feet in play?

Adam Potters lead has been eroded by Tretty, but a big move came from Sexton who now moves into 3rd place, just 70 points behind the leader. The biggest improvement of the round came from Rivierabrian (The Wall) who moved up 11 places to sit just outside the Top Ten, whilst the big losers of the round were Tinyben (down 12 ) and Fish, Tic Tac and Richie (all down 10 places ).

DICK OF THE DAY award goes to Beany’s Babes – for selecting 3 Supersubs, whilst only having 14 men on the pitch. This simple error was compounded by the fact that 4 of his starting team weren’t even playing this weekend! However he wasn’t the lowest scorer in this round as both Richie (7 non-starters) and James (5 non-starters) managed to score fewer points.
You now have a break for 2 weeks to enjoy the sunshine and refuel your brains ready for Round 3.

Italy v Ireland and Wales v England both play on Sat 27th Feb and France v Scotland on Sunday 28th.
